CHECKLIST FOR FULL DEPOSIT RETURN
Welcome to your new home. We would be obliged if you could pay special attention to the following points during
your stay and especially on the last day of your departure so that we can return your deposit – in full.
This is how you can play your part. While some of it might sound obvious to some of you, if it is on this list it is
because....
Basically you are responsible for leaving the apartment the way you found it.  If you wish to leave it dirty let me know
before hand on 0142604530. see rates below.
We are only trying our best to make this stay a comfortable and a happy one for you.  Here is how we both can be
happy. Your checklist….

PLEASE RETURN
KEYS -
remote controls for hi-fi and tv
FULL INTERNET EQUIPMENT including installation CD Rom, modems, USB Key, sheet that
contains passwords and identifications, all wires and manuals etc...
Please do not take clothes hangers and multiplugs with you. The next tenant needs them.

Inform us of any maintenance problems
If a bulb burns out or there is small leak somewhere or something is lose…inform us so that we can get it fixed for
your comfort as well as that of the next tenant. Please inform us when any little thing needs fixing. We like to keep
our apartments well maintained.

Garbage
Deposit all your garbage in the big rubbish bin found at the entrance of your building. Remove all your garbage
before handing over the flat. (including maps, magazines, clothes, shoes, plastic bags you do not want…)

Fridge and Freezer
Empty out both – Do not leave food there thinking the next tenant can use it. Please throw it out or take it with you.

Dishes
Kindly do all your dishes before you leave the flat

Crockery Breakages
Count the number of glasses, plates broken and either replace or inform or count 2€/glass/plate ready in cash.

Linen
Leave the linen on the beds  or on the floor in a pile.
Please don't take our linen with you - this usually happens when friends or relatives help you pack and they don't
know what is included in the rental and what is not and they just pack away everything, thinking it belongs to you the
te nantand not realising the linen came with the unit and has to be returned.
Also please note that dirty linen and damaged linen are 2 different things (wine stains, tea and coffee stains, blood
stains, stains of pens and markers, torn linen ….among others is considered damage.)

Telephone Usage
Remind us a couple of days before your departure, if you wish to track your telephone usage and want to know what
the exact cost is.  

Internet Equipment
DO NOT TAKE OUR MODEM or USB plug or password or installation CD with you – Not even by accident. Leave all
the internet equipment (password:CD rom, Modem etc, visibly on the desk)

TV and Hi-fi
Do not disconnect the decoders and leave the remote control visibly ON the TV. (for both the TV and the
satellite/cable decoders). Remote of  Hi-Fi on the Hi-FI.

Keys
Return all the keys including letter box keys and interphone/building front door keys along with the keychains please.

Do not move furniture - Do not move posters - Do not stick personal pictures on the fridge and walls,
especially no scotch tape on the walls or drawing pins.



IF YOU WISH TO LEAVE THE RENTAL DIRTY, INFORM US BEFOREHAND (IT WILL COST YOU 30 Euros if it is a
studio and 60 Euros for a one bedroom, for 5 rue Pelican Ground floor unit 100 euros. )
